First Day of School 2013-2014!!!!!!

We have a first grader and a third grader!  Yikes!
We had a full morning today.  First day of school gifts, breakfast, outfits, devotions, pictures and walk to school.  It was fun.  They were so excited and ran directly to their friends!  Hard to believe another summer has come and gone.  At the beginning of the school year I usually question whether we made the most of our summer and the time I had with the girls.  I need to look back with no regrets and thank the Lord for the great summer we had! I will certainly miss them everyday! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The girls and I picked a bible verse that will encompass what we want to accomplish for this school year.  Here it is...

Matthew 12:33-37

“Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit. You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.  A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him.  But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken.  For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.”
