U.S. CIS...

stands for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. The last bit of paperwork we are waiting for is on the way. We received our biometrics {fingerprint} appointments yesterday in the mail and the date is set. The approval from U.S. CIS gives our child permission to enter the United States when we travel home with him. Obviously this is a major part of the "process" and we are excited to be on our way to completion. After we have our fingerprints taken we will receive a letter in the mail saying that we are approved, which can take a few months.
Every paperwork completion feels like one step closer to our little guy!
Keep praying for our patience. It is so easy to wish this time away so we can get their. With the Lord's help we are trying to stay in the moment and enjoy these days ahead of us. We know that life will look very different when we return with child #3. Pray that we will live out these days exactly {or as close to} how God intends.

Be encouraged, our prayers are heard....15 Ethiopian children, from our agency alone, where placed with forever families just in October! How awesome is that!
