Forever Changed

We met our son on July 6, 2014! We are forever changed. 

Here are a few highlights from our first trip. 

We flew into Washington DC on Friday, July 4, our 16th wedding anniversary. We spent the day there and finished with a spectacular fireworks show that night. Saturday morning we flew out of DC into Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. We were excited to get to travel with three other families traveling for court as well.

We are in love. 

This is a gift from one of Derek's coworkers. Take a minute to read the letter he wrote. It has impacted our lives. We pray that it does yours as well. 

These little ladies were so glad to see their momma and daddy!!!

We brought them back many goodies and these dresses were one of them.

Possibly give. Derek and I went through so many emotions and had many new experiences (good and bad) while we were there it's difficult to put it all down. 

We are so grateful to have walked this journey and are so blessed for the way God has written this story. We are looking forward to seeing how He finishes this story in our lives.
